The semi finals both proved to be close affairs.

The first saw Ugthorpe’s John White overcome Moorsholm’s Mick Liddell 21-18 while in the other, Fryup’s Walter Robinson just lost out to Geoff Cuthbert 21-16 to set up an all-Ugthorpe final.

Cuthbert opened up an early lead and went on to win comfortably 21-7 and claim the Margaret Wilson Trophy – a great achievement after missing a whole year through injury.
