HAWSKER School children scaled new heights after the school took advantage of a free service.
The school was visited by Kingswood Outdoor from Hexham and its mobile climbing wall.

The youngsters at the school had a cracking time climbing with the experts there to keep an eye on them.

Headteacher Carl Hardwick also put his best foot forward and scaled the wall.

He said everyone really enjoyed it: "All the children took part and many of them managed to make it to the top.

"The weather in the morning looked like it could spoil the day but it brightened up a bit although it was still very cold.

"We were the only school in the area to take advantage of the service and best of all it was free.

"I hope they will be able to come again."
