THE bells rang out at Old St Stephen's Church earlier this month when Fylingdales Primary School staged a concert.
The whole school wrapped up warmly and went up to the church - which has no electricity - to sing carols which were performed to a full-house as part of the village’s Victorian Weekend celebrations.

Each class sang a carol and the older pupils did handbell ringing.

Raffle prizes were donated for a Victorian Hamper and Deb Gillanders from the church provided mince pies and fruit punch.

Headteacher Lisa Jones said it had been a lovely community event with lots of parents helping out to take children from school up to the church for the concert which was held on Friday 5 December.
