A sad reflection of life I am writing to support the eloquent comments and detailed research made by Viv Wright in the Whitby Gazette on 22 July.

Officer was doing his job I am writing in response to the letters page regarding the police officer who arrested the bus driver.

Show support for Seasiders As we approach another season can I ask the people of Whitby and the surrounding area to get behind your local team and get down to the Turnbull Ground on a Saturday afternoon.

Anger at council Some time ago people will remember the closure of Helredale Play Centre.
