QUIZ nights on Mondays at the Victoria Hotel, on Wednesdays at The Laurel and Sundays at the Dolphin.
FYLINGDALES local history archives are open every Monday except bank holidays, 2-4pm in the Methodist Chapel upper room. For details ring 880336 or 880123.
OLD St Stephen's Church is open Tuesday-Sunday to visitors from approximately 11am-5pm.
COFFEE morning every Thursday at Robin Hood's Bay Methodist Church, 10am-noon.
LIVE music at the Grosvenor every Tuesday with Steve Phillips.
AEROBICS in Fylingdales Village Hall, 6.15-7.15pm on Wednesdays. For details ring 880141.
BINGO and dominoes afternoon in Fylingdales Village Hall every two weeks. Cash prizes, raffle and refreshments. Proceeds for the hall refurbishment fund.
THIS year's Open Gardens in Robin Hood's Bay and Fylingthorpe is in aid of the Whitby and Ryedale Alzheimers' Society and to be held on Sunday 8 June from 11am-5pm. Tickets available from Station Road Stores, £4 per adult. Over 20 gardens open, some new from previous years. Tombola, bric-a-brac, books and refreshments.
A PLANT swap is to be held at Kath Brown's house, 14 Laburnum Ave on the Thursday 15 May at 7pm. Bring your spare plants along to swap. No plants, no problem, you are just as welcome to come along to buy, chat and exchange ideas. Refreshments will be served.
ANTIQUE and Collectors' fair on Saturday 24, Sunday 25 and Monday 26 May in the village hall, 9.30am-5pm. Ring 840431 for details, all welcome.

CLUBS
INDOOR bowls at Fylingdales Village Hall every Monday from 2-3.30pm, all welcome.
ADULT Tennis Club meets every Monday from 7pm at Robin Hood's Bay. New members welcome.
FYLINGTHORPE WI meets on the second Monday of every month at Wibury at 2pm. New members welcome.
PLAYGROUP in the Church Rooms, Monday to Friday mornings. For details contact Wendy on 880976.
FOLK Club in the Dolphin Hotel on Fridays, at 8.30pm. Singers, musicans and listeners welcome.
MIDDAY cannon, at noon on Sundays with Baz and Chas, Victoria Gardens.
BADMINTON for adults in the village hall on Mondays and Thursdays at 7.30pm. Junior sessions have had to stop until someone can help on Mondays, 6-7.30pm. Please ring Joan Newton on 880859 if you can help.
WHITBY Badminton Club plays in the sports hall at Fyling Hall School, Fylingthorpe. Club nights are on Thursday, 7-10pm, September to April. Adult guests £3.50 per evening and juniors £1.50. Any fees paid as a guest can be deducted from the membership fee. Members can provide lifts to and from Fyling Hall. Improve your fitness doing something which is fun. For further details ring the club secretary Walter Turner on 602938. Everybody welcome.
