THE February meeting was opened by the chairman and the minutes of the last meeting were read by Chris Hebron.

how at Tatton Park and Wedding Belles at Helmsley. The WI quiz at Northallerton will be on 24 May.
The June meeting is to be an outside visit to the Stained Glass Centre, names were requested of those wishing to attend.
The craft meeting at Wibury, Robin Hood's Bay on Tuesday 16 February is 2-4pm and is open to anyone wishing to knit, sew, talk etc, cost £1.
Birthday flowers were presented to Chris Hebron, Gillian Hodgson and Pat Bulmer. Dominoes drives are to be held at the Fylingdales Inn on 28 February at 21 March at 8pm.
Joint group events include a dominoes drive at Ruswarp on 22 April, the rally at Hinderwell, a show at Staithes in November, the concert at Hawsker on 19 October and lunch at Fylingdales Inn, date to be arranged.
Suggestions on how to celebrate the 90th anniversary this year were requested. The winner of the competition, a photograph of a local scene was Pat Bulmer, Ann Edley was second.
The speaker, Laurence Hodgson, spoke on the Fylingdales Court Leet. Beryl Thompson thanked him for an interesting talk.
The next meeting is on Tuesday 9 March and is the bulb show. Classes are: the WI bulb, three hyacinths, a bowl of daffodils and own choice. The speaker is Helen Jones, A Gardener's Eye View, and the competition is a single hyacinth.
